Tying spade end hooks

Hi all,

how would u tie a hook with no eye? it only has a spade end....i tired but the knot keeps slipping....

anione can assist?

    ..yeah i was blur the first time when i met with spade hooks....hehhe didnt know the simple snell could do the job. but if it has a ring eye ill tie it differently using grinner knot....the more u pull the hook the tigther it will be ...something like a hangman's noose.

    Normal hooks have eyes at the end. Easier to tie, but spade end hooks make for better neater finishing as the knot to hold it will make it tapered and relatively narrow.
