I am trying to understand the how Shimano names their conventional / round reels. I see that they have Ocea range which is for salt water use and under that they have Conquest and Calcutta. Then they have Calcutta Conquest under round reels separately as well. Also, they have Ocea Conquest. This seems confusing.
If Calcutta is supposed to be the round reels family then it should be available under the application brand (like Ocea for saltwater). Why have Calcutta Conquest?
Can someone throw some light on this subject? Thanks in advance.
