    March 2017.

Decided to try out JB CnR pond.

Landed my 1st ever GT.. though is captivity la but still a GT.. fight was beyond my wildest imgination.

Even the largest CPC, RTC, Patin over at our local pond stand no chance in terms of sheer power and rage.

I would rate local pond fight 7/10

    But this GT... 11/10 rating!

Due to the pond size im glad it took me only about 25-30mins to land it.. i cant imagine hooking one in the wild.

    Setup:
    Bossna BS Monster II 6'3
    2011 Shimano Twinpower C3000HG
    Duel Hardcore X8 PE1.2
    YGK 50lb Flourocarbon
    House Bait

Ahh im using the glow in the dark for night luring.

Usually during high tide and calm waters i will just do slow crank and twitch 2-3 times.

During high tide and choppy waters i will just do fast retrieve to mimic baitfish swimming against the current.

Low tide just cast nia and pray lol.

"Low tide just cast nia and pray"  LOL  :D

    Thanks for the tip bro!!
