Hi all, I will be in Phuket in the coming weeks so I would like to get more information about tackle shops in Phuket to get my hands on some of thier local lures/brands, as information online is limited. I noted that there was a thread about this a few years back but would like to get some updated info. Thanks

Theres this one tackle shop i went before which i had to find it for 2days. But the direction to the place is kinda straight forward. BUT im really sorry bro i forgot the name of it. But  again you can actually ask some of the locals there. Just go to the patong beach at night the best is all the way to the left side of patong beach there will be one bridge and beside it theres one big spotlight. Locals there loves to eging. And some even cast nets there too. So you might wana try to ask the locals there. I know the answer im giving you is nt what you want exactly but i hope it helps. I will try to recall again whats the name of it and will get back to you.

I found this shop by chance many years ago. I was staying at Ao Yon/ Khaokhad area and used to drive across towards the other side of the island by Soi Phatthana Thong Thin, where the shop is. It carries many locally made lures and jigs which are cheap and good.
