Need advice on Jigging Rod for Luconia; Yamaga or Shimano Ocea Jigger

We have a plan trip to Luconia and I am planning to buy a Twinpower 10K to match with a heavy jigging rod. I am considering Yamaga 52/10 or a Ocea Jigger S536.

The recommended jigs to use is 250g, 300g, 400g & 500g. My concern is that 52/10 max is 300g while S536 is only 270g. Are these rod still able to handle these jigs or are the recommended jigs oversize?

Appreciate your advise ... TIA.

Go with the Galahad is my suggestion, 300 Grams is a heavier jig; as in it can tiring if you don't hit the gym.

Bring up 150's, 180's and the ones you plan for.

A 500 Gram Jig needs its own rod. PE6 onwards is my shaky memory and also go over head for these big jigs.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. Since i haven't brought the reels, is an overhead reel more suitable for heavy jigs between 200-400g? Is this setup also suitable for bintulu oil rig?

Yes it is, but you may using the heavier Jigs.

As a rule, you can lose 3 Jigs of the same weight, losing 4 is a Miracle.
