Can't sleep so do some writing..I spent many years of study and reading to caught my first barra. Of cos got some tips from the regulars and uncle... One require skill and luck for barra fishing, right kaki also important. Barra is sensitive to tide, water, temp & weather but still things won't work sometime even in perfect condition. (I oso nt sure why). Barra behave differently at certain tide therefore fishing window is short & must kw what to do.(10-20min). Fishing at same spot for 12years allows me to trend the results. Fish smart not fish hard, kw the best time to fish will increase yr catch. Apologize for poor write up. Above info is base on my opinion. Next writing is abt lure selection. Stay tune. Haha

War is the best time for bara fishing? Upcoming or down going?
  • Mark.C
Outgoing. Depend your fishing spot, rock or sand, deep or shallow. Sweet spot to ambush bait fish.

So far no luck in as luring lol.. Shall try more sw luring nw.. What's ya choice of weapon? Rubber or hard lures?
  • Mark.C
I use both and depend on fishing pressure. Generally I use hardbody in open water and plastic on structures. For colour, I prefer green and size 6-7.5cm.
