Any rod to recommend for this category? have a few target in mind mainly Majorcraft Giant killing GKC-74Buri and Majorcraft Crostage CRC-710MH, and also what size reel should i be using for light popping? thanks in advance

Which line class are you looking at?

Majorcraft also has a Offblow which is rated PE 3-5 for casting and it feels good IMO.

looking at PE 2-4?

Your choices should be ok, but note the lure rating 25 - 80gm. Both rods are meant for yellowtail and may be not sufficient for bigger targets.

Another one to consider may be CRC-76M
