Spinning Rod recommendation for Pintail casting in Rompin/Sibu/Pekan

edited May 2019 in Rods

I'm considering buying a 7ft to 7.5ft spinning rod for Pintail and jig casting in Rompin/Sibu and Pekan type of fishing.  Looking at a PE2 to PE2.5 type of rating and casting lures up to 60g or so.  2 piece or butt-joint type is preferred for transportability.  Rod will be paired with a Certate 4000 or TwinPower 5000 type of reel.

So far I had considered 3 rods in the $250-$300 price range.
First rod is the Bone Ocean Thug Light Casting OTLC701M :
Second rod is the Major Craft Giant Killing GKC-73ML : https://www.lurehaven.com.sg/index.php?route=product/product&path=71&product_id=40856&category_ids=&manufacturer_id=17&product_type=2791307011&limit=80
Third is the Centaur Light Cast 775 :  https://www.lurehaven.com.sg/index.php?route=product/product&path=71&product_id=40856&category_ids=&manufacturer_id=17&product_type=2791307011&limit=80

Would appreciate advise, comments and feedback from Kakis who had actually fished with the above 3 series of rod on which one is :
1. More Durable,
2. Better for casting,
3. Has stronger back bone for fish fighting.

I am also looking at rods like Yamaga Blanks Blue Sniper and EverGreen Poseidon, but they are at a totally different price point.

Any commendation and recommendations will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I'm using a Graphiteleader Barlette 70M. Casts well and far. Paired with a 2013 Certate 3012H. Light setup, can cast all day without feeling fatigued. Around $400 BN.

    - Length (ft/cm): 7'0" / 214 cm
    - Weight : 176 grams
    - Tip / Butt Diameter : 2.1mm/11.5mm
    - Lure Weight : 15-60 grams
    - PE rating : 2- 4.

Personally I would go with something that is in the $250~$300 price point as you said.

I would look at the Centaur and Graphiteleader.

Reelwise, I am a Shimano man, because getting a Daiwa serviced here with Mag Seal is nothing short of a trek.

Yamaga Blanks Blue Sniper is great and all, just make sure the stiffness sits well with you; excellent choice.

Evergreen Poseidon is the last stop. It's he best choice here in my opinion. But get something you can have fun with and comfortable with, the angler catches the fish.

If you held a gun to my head, I like the Graphiteleader the best.

My new approach to rods is, affordable, comfortable and it suits me.

I just realized that I had not included Tenryu Spike Bonito series of rod into the comparison.  Can't seem to find Tenryu rods in the more popular tackle shops around the central area, can anyone advise who carries Tenryu rods in Singapore please?  Thanks.
