What is the proper way to fly back home with our catch?

Hi Guys, this may have been discussed so please forgive me. I am planning to explore nearby waters away from Singapore for the first time. My primary mode of transport will be air. Im bringing a small cooler box keep a snapper or two. I have read a few of the airlines regulations on transporting seafood. Some of the requirements are, the seafood has to be completely frozen and no ice are allowed in the coolers. Can anyone share what actually happens if I decide to bring back my catch? Thanks a million!

Freeze it, pack it with ice in a Styrofoam Box or Cooler Box, and masking tape the hell our of it, check in. Done it at Sabah before.
