I own the abovementioned rod and was thinking if its advisable to change the guide from multiplier to spinning. Im not used to using multiplier for surfcast. Pls advise.

It can be done but you might end up spending over $300 bucks for workmanship and Fuji SIC guides.

I used to have the 12.5 ft silstar traverse x.. Original rod is spinning type but can also used for multiplier... Possibly no need to change the guides.. Good rod Bro!!!!

I have a $60 rod rebuild spending above $200. It has been with me over 10yrs and is often used so I guess it is all worth it.
