Another nice catch from Swift Lady, especially the parrot & grouper.

When sinkers are concerned, I'm one who never like to mention nos. as it's confusing with no universal standard adopted. Using their actual weight in grams or ounce can reduce miscommunication.

A J20 sinker is abt a Kg but needs a SC35(SC - surecatch aka Siow Chiang) sinker to have abt similar weight.

    # for line is usually referred to lbs. Same goes for drag setting

For hooks sizes, they usually have 2 series.

    Series without /0 - e.g. 1, 2...10, 12 etc.
The higher the no., the smaller is the hook size.

    Series with /0 - e.g. 1/0, 2/0 ....6/0, 8/0 etc.
The higher the no., the size gets larger.

Frank - send my best regards to your dad. Had spoken to him some days back regarding being an affiliate of this forum. He's kinda busy now. Do help him out in posting relevant info should he decides to become an affiliate. Discuss with either Jeffrey Tee or Mike Goh of this forum regarding T&C of a charter affiliate & they will create a dedicated section for Swift Lady charter.

    Best regards
